2023 Cloud Nine Field Blend

£16.50

For many years Keith produced one still wine - the Cloud Nine blend. We keep the tradition alive as our ‘field blend’, a representation of the vineyard from a particular year. All of our wines are single-vintage and therefore no two-vintages are alike, but the Cloud Nine is particularly special - the composition of the blend is chosen to reflect the best fruit from the growing season. Sometimes we change up the winemaking too, so keep an eye out for new releases!

This award winning dry white wine (Bronze Wine GB Awards) is made from grapes from the 2023 harvest, and was released in August 2024. It comprises primarily Bacchus, with additional Schonburger, Seyval Blanc and Pinot Noir grapes and 20% has been fermented in old French oak for six months. This wine shows a more subtle and nuanced side to Bacchus. It has a harmonious bouquet of white peach and jasmine, with a light herbal verbena edge. On the palate it is fresh and crisp, with partial barrel and malolactic fermentation giving added texture and depth, ultimately delivering a long mineral finish.
