Bacchus is a popular UK grape variety, and can be found around the wine growing regions of England and Wales. Often compared to a New Zealand-style Sauvignon Blanc, it is fresh, fruity and vibrant. We have won multiple awards for ours over the years, from our old (>30 year old) vines.
This Bacchus is our 2025 harvest release, a fine vintage for English vineyards. In a first for us, the wine was fermented on its own indigenous yeast, instilling a real sense of place. The 2025 edition has aromatic notes of elderflower and English hedgerow, layered with ripe kiwi, passionfruit and flashes of zesty lime. The palate is generous and textured, carrying a broad, deep mouthfeel that wraps around the vibrant fruit, while a fine line of citrus acidity brings precision, freshness and energy through the finish.
Pairs well with mussels, prawn linguine, crab & avocado salad, chicken & asparagus, smoked salmon and goats cheese.
