Schonburger is a rare grape variety, originating in Germany. Not many plantings remain around the world, and we are one of very few remaining producers. It is an aromatic grape variety, producing beautiful pink berries when ripe. We’ll be honest, Schonburger is a pain to grow - hence not being widely available. We can only make it in good years, and it is typically limited to 1000 bottles/harvest - a rare wine indeed!
